Rep. Ed Towns (NY-10) introduced H.R. 1846 into the 110th Congress in March. Congressman Towns serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee that has jurisdiction on the House of Representatives over our legislation. He is a strong supporter of allied healthcare professionals.

Sen. Craig Thomas (WY) introduced NATA’s first piece of legislation, S. 3963, in the fall of 2006. Sen. Thomas serves on the Finance Committee that has jurisdiction over Medicare issues. Sen. Thomas is a 3rd term member of the Senate.
Congressman Michael Burgess

Congressman Michael Burgess, MD, (TX-26) serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee. Dr. Burgess is an obstetrician and is serving in his third term in Congress. Rep. Burgess is very concerned and familiar with healthcare and Medicare issues.
